Going into the settings menu on the printer, the machine can detect the wifi Hub (this is at work, so its the only available option - mini Hub, not ethernet port), but when I type in the password, it times out after about a minute without connecting.
The password is correct, so what else might be the problem?
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

What is the Mini Hub? Is it an EE mobile router? Which one?

@LeftieYoda : Yes, that's a mobile router. Which model is it?

Look for its model name on its label, on outside or under battery cover. Maybe something like starting with "EE71-???????".

Device name: 4GEE WIFI, IMEI: XXXXXXXXXXXXX, if that means anything to you?
I’m guessing you want to know which device so you can suggest logging into it via a browser?
Thanks,
Ollie
[MOD EDIT: Removed IMEI number from public view]

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then, if the WiFi password is not also found under the battery cover, on the WiFi Settings tab you should be able to see your WiFi password in clear & change it if you like.
