What on earth has happened to 5G in my area. All of a sudden it’s unusable having been rock solid 400MPS
ive got my sim in an archer router and am only using Ethernet so it’s not a WiFi problem.
Speeds have dropped to around 50 and the connection keeps dropping
i only got it because my landline broadband can only do 35 but if it carries on like this there’s little point in keeping it

@Flyboi65 In or out off contract may be a reason, mobile just 4G/5G is a wireless signal very much like wifi with all the same problems that each can have. Service Checker for Area Wide Mobile issues, have you checked?
Coverage Checker | Check Coverage and Signal in Your Area | EE

Yes I’ve checked all that and I’m still in contract. Even though the coverage checker says good signal indoors and out it’s been poor on all devices that use EE

@Flyboi65 2nd part is to call up EE CS and report it, they just may not know that there is a Mast issue with a Mobile signal.

@JimM11 Why are you spouting the rubbish about in/out of contract, that has no bearing on the service whatsoever

@garybs29 Got it. Possible this part off the OP's posting, " but if it carries on like this there’s little point in keeping it"

It's not the coverage checker that's relevant to you. That's just what EE's best intentions are for the area. It's the Service Checker that'll tell you of any issues there in real time.

@JimM11 : If that's the case being out of contract may be a good reason for quitting it but you cannot ascribe being in or out of contract as a reason for the OP's issues in the 1st place.
Another of your perennial wild guesses!
