Wifi extender for Smart-4G-Hub with SIM card

Hi, I'm the middle of moving from a static caravan to our renovated house. The internet works fine, but I can't get it to extend to the caravan. I bought a wi-fi extender but that doesn't work. Am I missing something?

Can't you connect them by Ethernet? If not, try the Repeater mode which does. Otherwise maybe you bought the wrong extender & require 1 not using WPS.

I can in theory connect via ethernet. However, the static caravan isn't really near the house. I'd have to dig a trench to bury the cable!

I have an idea. If I buy another Smart Hub (pre-loved) would EE give me a duplicate SIM card to use in the caravan?

No such thing as a duplicate SIM. You can't have the same no. on more then 1 SIM. You'd need to buy a 2nd SIM.

@Minstrel

If you were thinking of buying equipment, you could look at buying a (pre-loved, as you say) EE Smart 5G Hub HH20C OR HH70C instead which feature a WPS Button.

The fact they are 5G models just means that they are capable of it, but will also work on 4G.

Just pop in your existing SIM.

Thanks @Matt_124 - I've just had a look at the pre-loved ones you suggested and they aren't cheap!

Nope they certainly aren't I would agree with you there!

Didn't want to make any assumptions though and thought I would provide you with the info anyways, they're the only EE MBB devices I can find that include WPS.
