Did you mean:

Why is my bill increased more than 24% - from £50 to £54.65 to £62.51 ??

I am on  a 24 month contract that has increased by 24% in under 17 months.

My first bill was £50 on the 7th of October 2021

It moved to £54.65 on the 7th of April 2022

I have just had an email saying that its going up by £7.86 on or after 31st March 2023. That's £62.51 or approx. 24%.increase.........how can you possibly justify that for a second rate service ? When EE are still advertising the same deal of £50 for new customers !!

I now get a worse service than i Have ever had with constant buffering of devices.

Hi @MacdonaldA

The increase is the RPI increase every year. It was detailed in your contract.

For this years rise see here:

Thanks

@MacdonaldA  that’s because you had an RPI+3.9% price increase last year and you’ve had one this year.     It’s in your contract that you agreed too.    Your contract price isn’t fixed for the term of that contract.

Are you having a laugh RPI is not 24% and your offering £50 24 months contract to new customers .....not the £62.51 I will be paying next month

It's no laughing matter! It's in your & everyone's contracts & you will have spanned 2 annual CPI + 3.9% April increases in the life of your contract.

Sure right its no laughing matter, when you are offering the same contract for £47.70 to new customers/mugs.

Paid for unlimited data and unlimited speed and all you get is buffering, the service is diabolical.

@MacdonaldA , just to let you know, all networks are increasing and do so every year, this year it is 14%, not 24%, you may have not noticed the increase last April maybe?

When you signed the contract, you would have known that every year it rises, this year is the biggest rise, but all networks are doing the same, Martin Lewis mentioned and discussed this on his program.

@MacdonaldA   And those tariffs will have a price increase next year and the year after.     It’s in the contract.    Always read the contract not just look at the device and go shiny new toy must have.

last year it was 9.4% ( If I remember correctly) this year it’s 14.4%.      You’ve had a previous price increase ( last year ) and you’ve got one this year.

as for any buffering on your device you need to give more information.     What service?  What device? Indoors or outside?

I’m on a limited speed and I get no buffering at all.

sorry I put RPI that should say CPI.

wow! Your reply is a joke. Really? Read the contract and not just look at a shiny device???? So if EE decides to charge 50% more we have to agree? You are having a laugh my friend. You seem very smart and your attention to detail is brilliant... do you work for EE?

I completely agree with you. This is a joke. Something is off with this crap mobile company. I am in the same situation. Paying £25 more after 1 month in contract. STUPID!
