Using a 4G EE WIFI MINI EE71 on a canal boat. Need better signal

Hi,

So I live on a canal boat and I have a 4G EE WIFI MINI EE71 

If I get a little bit of cloud I'm lucky to get a signal at all. its infuriating at times when I want internet to  use PC In fact even on a good day the signal is not that great. Is there a better device EE  have that will help me get a better signal? 

Any help on this appreciated.
