Trying to use credit to buy plan on connected Sim

Hi, I'm trying to use my credit to buy a plan on a connected Sim.  I got a pre paid yearly sim card from Argos which has now expired.  I've been told that I have to top up every 3 months for the sim to stay active. (I previously did not know this and so the sim card was suspended). I currently have £10 of credit on the sim but it will only allow me to buy and add on and not choose a plan.  Can anyone help me please?

You can only buy add-ons once the original plan has expired. Anyway £10 wouldn't be enough to buy a lengthy plan. You need to buy another Connected Data SIM to get another lengthy plan.

I can buy add ons using credit.  It doesnt matter on the length as they only last 30 days at a time which is fine.  There is an option to choose a plan for 30 days but asks for my card and no option to use my credit.

What do you mean by a plan that isn't a 30-day add-on? I took you to mean like the pre-paid year's data you started with.

Yes, sorry, I realise that if i need a longer plan like before i would have to buy a new pre paid data like i had before. but not needing it like that now so 30 days is fine if i can pause it when its not needed

Are you talking about a PAYG Pack?
