TP-Link M7350

Hi. I purchased a TP-Link M7350 V3 Mobile Wi-Fi device off eBay. I have now purchased an EE Connected Data SIM 120gb (lasts for 12 months) I have having great difficulty getting it to work. My Smarty (Three) SIM works fine  in the Wi-Fi device and the EE data SIM works fine in my iPhone SE (2106). I have tried the usual EE settings but all I get is 2G connected. I did work for a while when I changed to PAP. Now I have powered it up again, back to 2G. When it was working, I have about 16gb where we are in our motorhome in Wales (Pembrokeshire coast). I used to work in IT so don’t normally have a problem. I think I set up PAP and it worked for a while. Any ideas before I sling the TP-Link Wi-Fi over the cliff top here! If I need to buy another Wi-Fi device, what do I get? Are the cheap ones on eBay OK? Sometimes these work better! Thanks in advance. Rob

 Very useful again. The Nighthawk looks good but a bit out of our price range. I’ll try the B535 first. Can pick it up next week to try it. Might get a PUK antenna and fit to the roof. Thanks

@EssexBoyEE : It's a 4GEE WiFi Mini

@XRaySpeX thanks but which one (Model), as some of the Model Numbers there's a hidden clue as to what the LTE CAT specs are.

Personally I would bother with the PUK Antennas, they kinda work but there a bit of a compromise, a 4/5G Antenna needs to be at least around a foot above or away from any metalwork to perform correctly.

@EssexBoyEE : I have a 4GEE WiFi Mini 2020 in my possession. The battery compartment label says "EE71-2BE8GB8". Is that its model no.?

Thanks for that. Saves me wasting more money. Interesting to see if the EE sim works better in the M7350 in another area on a different mast. It’s really hit and miss in this location. Thanks again. Rob

@XRaySpeX yea, so the E70 & E71 donate it's a CAT 7, likewise the E120 & E121 are CAT 12 etc.

But don't blame if EE start to go off tangent again, and change it all, like naming after Birds again, if that happens I vote the first one should be called the EE Cuckoo 🙂
