A friend has just received this router and added an ATA for VOIP telephony. From what he tells me it is correctly setup for connection to the SIP server. However, calls cannot be made nor received.
Before I go further in trying to help him I'd like confirmation that EE do nothing to prevent VOIP telephony on this broadband service. For example, Three only allow data traffic and specifically block telephony. I hope EE don't do anything like this.

Hi,
we recently got the 5 g smart hub and was wondering whether you were able to resolve the issue. We are having similar problems with VOIP calls and our provider was saying SIP needs to be unlocked. I am not at all technical so don’t know what to do. Even with WiFi calling it’s a bit hit and miss. We are in an area where 02, our mobile phone provider, signal is weak but prefer to stay with them because EU roaming is free and we all travel. Any help much appreciated. Thanks,
