Smart 5G Hub and forticlient VPN issues

Hi,

Recently switched to a smart 5G hub, it has been working fine, however I work from home half the week and to access work files I need to log in to FortiClient which does not like the new hub.

I've gone back and forth between my works IT and EE IT and both said there was nothing they can do. I was wondering if anyone could help me as if it can't be resolved I will likely have to switch to a different router.

From my nonexistent it knowledge and a bit of Google searching I saw people suggesting that it could be an ipv4/ipv6 issue? But I don't know how to change this if that is the case. Thank you 🙂

If it is an IPv4/IPv6 issue, can you make a new copy of the Profile/APN on your mobile router, toggle the APN Protocol between IPv4 & IPv6 & then save it as the Default Profile?

Thanks for this. Just got the hub today and was struggling too. Still not sure I'm keeping it, but at least seems to connect to Forticlient now!
