Smart 5G Hub Only Detects 4G

I've checked the EE coverage map for the postcode where my business is and it comes under 5G. All the phones on site pick up 5G but the Smart 5G hub will only pick up 4G on 5 bars. I've checked to make sure the SIM is 5G enabled and it is. The router's firmware is up to date and I've tried it in different palces where the phones get 5G. It's now next the front window raised on a shelf so there should be very little obstruction. The phones pick up 5G there anyway so why this router should default to 4G is a mystery.

The settings for Network Mode are auto 4G/5G but it defaults to 4G every time, yet phones find the 5G no problem.

We're only on mobile broadband because we couldn't get fibre but now providers are coming in so we may ditch EE in the near future if we can't get 5G sorted on the Smart Hub. It would be nice to get 5G into the place though!

Do you know any friends or relatives who have an EE phone - if so, do they receive 5G service in the same location?

What data speeds are you achieving over 4G?
