Will Langholm be getting a well earned upgrade

the net work is currently very poor and underpowered see screenshot - translates to 1 bar strength and 18mb download and 2mb upload - very poor service

Hi @Ianclimb8

Have you checked EE coverage and network status checker?

https://ee.co.uk/help/service-status

Can you make and receive calls. Do you have access to EE WiFi calling service.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I have checked frequently  open to complaints and had engineers visit - I have even checked mast maps used high gain outdoor aerial  ended up on broadband because it better than  rubbish 4G to date.

id like a date when we will improve service here fiber to the house should be possible - why is it not here ?

5G would be great but a stronger signal would be nice too ?

quite frustrating to know that fiber is at the green box in the town square …

Signal strength has no direct correlation to data speeds.

Out of curiosity, what do you want to use your phone for, that 18Mb/s is insufficient?

Both sites serving Langholm are single-carrier B3-1800Mhz alongside B20-800Mhz. So a total of 25Mhz bandwidth that would drop to 5Mhz in poor radio conditions.
