5g Standalone (specific to Milton Keynes)

Hello,

Does anyone know when or how quickly EE's 5g standalone will be rolling out. Apologies if this has been asked a million times however I can't find any specifics anywhere. We all know how touch and go 5g is at the best of times, and so the 5g standalone sounded like an amazing upgrade to the already present infrastructure, so I renewed my plan (foolishly now I know, however I was assured I would be able to access this in my area, Milton Keynes, advised wrongly). I understand now however, it is only available in select locations.

My question is how quickly will they introduce this to other locations, and what is the roadmap of where these next locations will be, or is it being regarded as some sort of trial. UK mobile infrastructure is so slow at being introduced, and still isn't great for 5g at the best of times, so will be good to know if anyone has any inside knowledge. And will the infrastructure be being shared with other operators.

Thanks

There's no difference in how network-sharing works for 5G, as any other radio access technology.

Active radio equipment is operator-specific. Site locations are often shared.
