Since I got this it initially worked just okay despite the EE people saying it can handle up to 10 WiFi units. But now on a daily basis I cannot stream a thing as it just rubbish constantly having to reset it and supposedly up to 20mbps absolute joke as nowhere near and feel conned by EE as is just no good. Any suggestions please as I am paying for something which clearly doesn't work

So I accept that the battery gets hot per my colleagues reply so took it
back to the shop to exchange it. All they did was give me a so called new
battery but still the same ie overheating etc. In the shop I was told that
despite originally being told by them to leave it plugged in you should
not. Apparently the the charge only lasts for less than a day(I work from
home) then it has to be charged for 6 hours! So I am in a catch 22 scenario
where the battery overheats as well as the unit which means the who thing
is a pile of rubbish as trying to get thru to the EE tech people. I too
don't know how to cancel and ultimately left with an expensive pile of
garbage. Don't believe the media hype!

Same experience. I moved house after 10 years of £30-35 per month and needed a home router as there is no landline. This worked absolutely perfect for 3 months and was woth the £50 per month (has since increased in price) - 35-70 m download. And now it is virtually impossile to watch streaming TV and my work computer has trouble connecting and disconnects at any available opportunity - I bit awkward when you teach online. Obviously, becasue of community rules, I cannot express my disgust appropriately but feel an absolute mug.

Good morning @AlanRoe

Welcome to the community.

Have you been able to check your area for any known issues that could be causing this using the Network Checker?

You will also be able to see what 4G should be like within your area to.

Hi Alan,

Yes, I made a formal complaint and they reduced my contract term in the
hope that I could check out other competitors to no avail but since got a
bigger router off EE which gives better speeds albeit paying through the
nose for it

Thanks for getting back to me @AlanRoe

Have you been able to report an issue?

Katie

The issue is ongoing and I find reporting it a dead end. They always try to sell you something more expensive saying iyt is better; yet more lies.

Hi @AlanRoe

You can report the signal problem on the Coverage and Status checker and our network team will get the area looked into and keep you updated.

Leanne.

It allows me to report slow internet or not connecting - not both. Typical corporate forced choice tactic.

If you select either option, the area will be fully investigated for any issues @AlanRoe
