I'm having the same issue, we bought the 4gee mini today to put in ring cameras in my elderly nan's house whos coming home from hospital (no wifi/broadband), and now after setting it all up i'm guessing the mini router will turn off all the time and not actually stay on the feed the cameras to us?? We weren't advised this when we bought them all in currys so am now not sure what to do!

Also how do you turn the router off if the lights arent on I cant tell when its on and when its off lol!

@gemjam It's OFF when all the LEDs are unlit. You switch ON/OFF with the "!" button on the back.

But the led's go off even when it's active?

@gemjam : Why worry about it? It'll certainly be off after 1/2 hour of non-use.

I'm concerned as it's to monitor a 97 year old woman out of hospital who has no wifi/broadband at home, so if it goes off into standby whats the guarantee of the cameras being accessible at 4am if she has a fall?

@gemjam : None at all! That's why a battery operated mobile router is not the answer to your requirements. Try looking at 4GEE Home Routers or similar which are mains powered.

Unfortunately we were sold that this was the best option in currys today 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'll have a look at these today thanks!
