@Forest83 : You are probably finding yourself up against a limitation of EE's mobile network. The EE mobile network uses Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) resulting in a double NAT, which games consoles often object to, which means you don't get your own public IP address but share it with other users. So you can't be uniquely id'ed on the Net & therefore your LAN cannot be addressed from outside for unsolicited accesses. This is unlike fixed BB.

If this occurs there is nowt you can do to avoid it. IMHO Mobile BB is not suitable for gaming.

Hello

Thank you very much. Is this official EE respond?

Somehow they are not aware of that through customer support and they would offer you all sort of support and tickets to try and resolve this for a weeks to come 🙂

Is this exactly the same if I take 5GEE WiFi or Smart 5G Hub at over 40/month? No online gaming, no IP security cameras, no video calling, no IP cameras websites and no one complains enough for support just to give you straight answer?

I'm just a user like you.

It's not the router but EE's mobile network.

Thank you I really appreciate your response. I just rang EE and they are convincing me it will all work ok with their device.

I'll take it to try for the first 2 weeks and feedback here on how things going 🙂

Fingers crossed

I took EE Mobile broadband and I can confirm that there is NO problem with  online gaming or ip cameras on their equipment.

I get good speeds up & down and more importantly the speed didn't drop after initial 2 weeks trial period. I have been using it now for nearly 2 months and so far so good 👍

Did you get anywhere with this issue as I’ve been having this issue for over 12 months now with ee broadband and also with mobile 5G, it’s absolutely rubbish!!…. If I go to my partners home with virgin broadband I have no issues at all, connects straight away and away I go with COD. Come home and if it does connect then it just keeps freezing and jumping!!… I’ve had to go buy a gift gaff SIM card and put in a spare phone just to get connected for playing games on my phone!! Shocking
