Morning,
I'm Based in North Norfolk NR25 area just outside Sheringham. Usually the data speeds here are around 30 - 60mbps and ping times are about 30ms. We have no land line for fibre broadband.
We've been having serious issues with the mobile data here for around Five Days. Data is 2- 12mbps and pings are 3500ms or more. Its unusable. We're 1000m from the transmitter with relatively good line of sight.
Both our Mobiles (Samsung Z-Fold and Z-Flip) and our 4GEE Router are experiencing this problem. Calls and texts work.
I've driven to the transmitter and the issue exists in all directions apart from one small spot of a few degrees where the data smashes 100mbps and 25 ping. Move 100m and its rock bottom.
EEs online coverage checker says there are issues in the area and we'll get texts to tell us what is happening but it doesn't expand. How do you even report an issue(Q)
There just seems to be no simple way to contact EE nor get information about progress. Just a 'we expect to resolve it in 48hrs' would suffice.
You expect things to go wrong from time to time and you just deal with it but we work from home and it's now seriously impacting our ability to operate.
I've got a second Vodafone PAYG SIM that I'm using to send this message.
Anybody else locally that's experiencing this problem and have made any meaningful progress(Q)

By means of explanation, a radio site will typically host multiple directional antenna providing coverage in varying directions, to make up a 360degree footprint split into numerous "sectors".
It's possible there's an issue on one sector of this site, whilst others are unaffected.

Hi @Thelonemail
Thanks for coming to our community.
You can report a problem when logged into your account after checking the area. You did mention that it confirmed an issue, so our engineers seem to be aware of it and will hopefully have an update for you soon.

Still having problems in this area for me. been almost 2 weeks now.
Now it seems to pick up signal now and again but drops out after about 30 seconds.
Just wondering if there's any update on when this will be sorted out
Thanks
