No connection to mobile broadband

My EE mobile broadband router has a one bar blue signal, yet every device connected to it says there’s no connection. I have reset everything to no avail on several occasions. This is happening on plenty of occasions and nothing seems to improve. EE say the there isn’t an issue in the area. Any ideas?

Do the same "no connection" issues occur in other areas? That would be a good test of whether this is likely to be an issue with your serving site or more general.

If the former, you can then use the "report a problem" link  on the status checker.

Its likely that if you have a poor connection to the 5G network, the router can connect but the connection is not reliable or keeps dropping out. It may be worth moving your 5G router to a place thats near a window and higher up in the building. Having service status being only at 1 bar, its likely you are out of range. Try to move the device to get at least 2/3 bars then it should work.

This is misleading. the onscreen bars are only a rough guide to service and one bar on one device could easily be two bars on another. Equally one bar is still a bar. A device that doesn't have usable coverage will display that.
