Can anyone offer any advice. I have some older appliances that need connecting to the Smarthub which is usually done through WPS, however, the new hub doesn’t have a button to send the signal. My printer and oven do not have the facility to add a key and only use WPS. Am I missing something here. It looks like I have to replace my printer at the very least. If I connect the printer by Ethernet and then move the hub back to it’s best position, will it lose connection to the printer.

Hi @Jenow
Welcome to the community.
If you can let us know the make and model of your printer and cooker, we can have a look to see if we can help in any way here.

Hi there @Jenow
Thanks for coming back to us.
If all other devices are connecting to the router, it may be worth getting in touch with the manufacturer of the oven to see if they can recommend any steps for you to try.
If they're unable to suggest anything for you to try, please get in touch with our tech guides and they can get this looked into for you.
Leanne.

It makes life so much easier. QR codes are absolutely great but older appliances do not have them! This is not an advancement in tech but a step back. I have a £1000 oven and a £400 laser printer, neither offer QR code connection and use WPS. Yes both are old but they work. Feel let down as we basically have upgraded from dial up copper cable to 4g introducing more problems
