Hello,
I would very much appreciate some help with my situation.
I started out testing EE broadband for a day because it is available in my building. This went well on both my phone and laptop.
Then I purchased a month pass and immediately service was crippled. First, my card which requires a confirmation number by text was repeatedly rejected because said prompt didn't appear the first 20 times - a day later it finally loaded and I could finally make the purchase. Then, the next bit hit: My speed dropped and I can no longer remain signed in for more than 3 minutes on either device. I wish this were an exaggeration but I have had to sign into EE WiFi six times just registering as a user in this board. Then my laptop wouldn't load this page using EE WiFi so now I'm posting by phone.
Currently, I am stuck relying entirely on my phone's data plan because the broadband option I just purchased barely works. I can confirm than both my phone and laptop function perfectly in other WiFi settings (event spaces, cafes, etc) - but EE WiFi always demands I sign in every 3 minutes or so no matter what.
Solutions attempted:
- restarting laptop
- forgetting SSID
- moving devices to different corners of the building
A proper resolution to this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Contacted technical support myself. It turns out that EE WiFi maxes out at 5 devices and starts randomly disconnecting other devices afterwards.
So don't rely on it for the long term.
