I took out a mobile broadband hub as ee told me it had good coverage in my area. When it arrived it didn’t work at all and was orange light. The guy on the phone said they had put a wrong mobile number and sent me another one in the post. This one barely works as the signal is not good enough. I cancel this one as well. They then sell me broadband for my London flat as they said that I could get a cheaper deal cos I have EE mobile and that the connection is just as fast, one switch and they will pay the bills from the old provider.
I then find out that they are charging me for both hubs (£87 + £35). I call them up and ask them to refund me and they say that they can’t refund but it will pro rata come out of my account. I also then find out that even though they have tried to connect the Ee broadband at my London place it won’t work at the Ethernet is hyperoptic. I check to see if they have cancelled my hyperoptic and they have heard nothing and also there is a £500 charge to leave and EE will only pay £300 so I call to cancel that and because it isn’t working yet they say I won’t get charged in my next bill. The next bill comes and they have charged me and no pro rata has come out of my bills for the 2x huns they charged me for that didn’t work. This company is a scam.
