Mifi box has never worked

After purchasing the mifi box in April 22 it was never really worked properly. Purchased it in Cannock took it to my Devin property for a weeks holiday and guess what it didn’t work at all. After coming home I went in to the shop to be told it might be a dodgy battery and to pop to a shop next door and get a new one. Obviously I was not happy with this and would not move until they checked it properly as the signal never worked. After spending an hour in the shop causing a fuss the staff eventually checked the SIM card. No surprise really they hadn’t activated the SIM card. So I went back to Devon and it worked intermittently. I just put this down to the poor signal of the area. This was a constant issue and the tv hardly worked, we most certainly couldn’t connect laptops or phones to it. However it was the summer and we were out most days. Coke Christmas! We spent Christmas at our cottage and yet again it didn’t work. I called EE to complain apparently there was an outage in the area so no signal. So we spent a whole week with no internet at all. Think I received a nominal figure from EE as an apology. Come this bank holiday weekend and it’s not working again. This item has been completely useless and EE I am nearly out of contract. Suffice to say I will be cancelling BUT I have spent £480 on something that hasn’t worked. I require a large proportion of this money back. The product is useless and not fit for purpose and I have been paying for something that has rarely worked. I look forward to your response EE.
