Hi, I bought a Huawei 5G CPE PRO3 H138-380 (outside UK, no lock as per provider 3HK). I bought a EE Ultimate data sim from Amazon.
They are not working well together. EE data sim work fine on 4G/5G mobile tethering, good quality on wifi call + TV live streaming. However, when EE sim goes into Huawei 5G CPE PRO3 H138-380, I can see the wifi and connect but it show "connect without internet". Mobile can connect it for sending msg or even viewing youtube. The connect drop frequently. Therefore Ii cannot make wifi call.
Can anyone have the same issue? Can it be fixed? Please help.

Hi, thanks again for your response.
The APN settings are identical and even though 4G & 5G are available the status is still ‘Internet disconnected’. I have left this for a few hours today and the status remains the same.
The only difference I can find is my device information; fields Software Version, WEBUI Version & Config File Version.
My device info
Software Version: 11.0.5.51 (H140SP14C983)
Web UI Version: 11.0.5.51 (W2SP18C7201)
Configuration File Version: H138-380-CUST 11.0.5.51 (C965)
Could this be the reason?

Unlikely to be Software related (Software appears to be same), could be Firmware related to a Specific Network Operator, difficult to tell from that info.
Assuming its all set up correctly and its allowing you to set up the APN separately but still not giving Service or Internet Connect could still be a number of things, Network Firmware, Regional or Global Firmware imbedded Settings, Partial Networking Retraction, too many to list.
Where did you source the Router from?, which Country or Region, is the Router Sim Network free, how is the Router Branded (on the Box or Case), has this Router ever worked in the UK, if so with which Network?
Does the Sim your using work in another Device in the same location, if yes, how well does it work in another Devices in terms of Network Signal and Speed Quality
Without giving Personal Details, where abouts are you located.
