Hi, I bought a Huawei 5G CPE PRO3 H138-380 (outside UK, no lock as per provider 3HK). I bought a EE Ultimate data sim from Amazon.
They are not working well together. EE data sim work fine on 4G/5G mobile tethering, good quality on wifi call + TV live streaming. However, when EE sim goes into Huawei 5G CPE PRO3 H138-380, I can see the wifi and connect but it show "connect without internet". Mobile can connect it for sending msg or even viewing youtube. The connect drop frequently. Therefore Ii cannot make wifi call.
Can anyone have the same issue? Can it be fixed? Please help.

You are right, Ai apps just to use for checking if it connected.
I follow you instruction to use lan line link with computer then use its IP login from Chrome browser. I follow everything you taught. Finally, not success.

I want to use EE Data sim for my 5G CPE Pro3 router. It doesn't work well. Therefore, I use the sim on my mobile to test all circumstances.
To test if my router problem, sim problem or anything else.

Where did you get this Router from?, Is it Badged Huawei or GH Telecom (some where Badged GH Telecom outside of China to get around the Snapdragon Chipsets under the US ban.)

I bought it from 3HK (Hong Kong).
In fact, I think this is the issue of EE data sim. I put VOXI in it today. Althought it just 4G, it connect well without problem more than 2 hrs now. I connected to TV box.

It probably won't be the EE Sim if it works as it should in a UK Phone.
TBH, your probably not going to get much support fron the EE Tech Support Team as its an Ourside UK / China version Device.
Having said all that I have played with this particular Router Model and have set then up to work on the UK EE Network, after some fuffing around in the Admin Settings, in fact I evaluated the 5G PRO H138 380 about six months ago on the EE Network and was surprised how well it worked and coped with EE Refarmed 5G extended Bands and gave really good 5G Speeds, but they were EU Versions (Badged GH Telecom as this model as its not available in the UK unless under Export)
It's possible that you have acquired a China Release Version (Hutchingson HK) and although its Network Unlocked it may be HK Firmware locked down maybe?
With the above in mind, I'm not sure I can give any further suggestions (other than rechecking EE APN again) I'm happy to help further if possible but I would really need the Router to be in front of me to determine which Bands and Firmware it supports but not sure how that is achievable TBH.

Hi, I have the Huawei CPE Pro 3. When trying to create the ipv4 only APN the password automatically fills itself after saving and doesn't allow the internet connection.
I've tried;
USERNAME; blank
PASSWORD; blank
and
USERNAME; eesecure
PASSWORD; secure
Are you not able to create a new apn on the Pro 3?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a Screenshot of the CPE Pro 3 (Network and Firmware Free)
Shows My Settings of the Device when I set it up for EE Network with - No User, No Password, PAP and IPV4 Only, (note Password is covered with Stars but its Blank).
I had no issues on the EE Network after using my own APN Profile Settings.
