Hello,
Just acquired a EE 5G Router to have WIFI into the house (while we wait for Fiber broadband to be installed into the house). EE Coverage (Twickenham - TW1) in the area is strong (5G and 4G) as per the EE website. However the Mbps obtained on the 5G router are low (below 40 Mbps) on our computers or cellulars (when wifi is only turned on). During the afternoon, the Mbps even go below the 10 mbps...
However, on our respective data cellular signals (iphone 12,13,...), we are getting much better Mbps (between 100-200 mbps) from the house.
Any potential suggestions on how to improve the Mbps on 5G router has this device is not very useful when the whole family is connected...
Thanks

Can you swap your phone SIM into the router, and vice-versa?
See if the issue follows the SIM or remains with the device.

Change it to a 4g connect only in the router settings and it will be much faster provided you have good 4g signal. We have the same problem in our area.

How do you access the settings

Hi @Binpit420,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
You can access the connection money by typing 192.168.1.1 into your web browser on a device that's connected to the router.
Hope this helps.
