Ee dongle abroad

I purchased an Ee dongle from Currys b4 coming on holiday, how do i use it as I am struggling to get it to work. I do not have any other Ee devices, I just want to use the dongle as my data. Currys assistant said I just switch it on but that does not appear to be the case. I am in France. Thanks

Does your dongle have a SIM?

If yes, did you use this in the UK before travelling abroad?

Yes it’s got a sim and it worked on my non sim iPad in Curry’s when it was purchased with 120gb.

Is the SIM pay as you go?

To use your subscription pack abroad you will need to purchase a Roaming add-on.
