EE hotspot wifi keeps disconnecting from my devices

I have purchased wifi hotspot from EE for 1 month as it covers my flat and the internet speed is very good. It automatically connects to my macbook when I switch it on (no log in required). However, it keeps disconnecting from my iPhone. I need to connect every 1 minute / 5 minutes / 10 minutes, and log in, putting in my username and password. It is extremely frustrating when it keeps disconnecting every few minutes, and it happens also when I am using my phone as well. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks

Hi Daniel, have you solved this issue yet? I had the same issue with iphone but it works well with Huawei. hope it helps.

Of course in EE wifi location. I was managed to connect to internet earlier after many attempts, now I am still having this issue of the connection being disconnected after some time. Please note I have tried the suggested steps mentioned in this forum

Thanks, but I don't think it is appropriate to mark this issue as resolved! And the 'solution' stated here is not solving the issue. Even @qinsun having the same issue with iPhone.

Hi, it’s not fully solved, but I bought an WiFi extension, and it connects to EE, holds the WiFi for much longer time, maybe hour or even a few hours, disconnects randomly or when I disconnect from my iPhone. I also noticed that if I open the EE login tap from my safari (when the login tap from WiFi pops up, click change password or sth, it goes automatically into safari/chrome), i can save the login details to my iPhone so it uses my facial recognition to auto-fill it.

I'm having the exact same issue. Bought a month pass because I can't get a short term broadband contract and the wifi speeds are decent enough from my neighbours EE hotspot for me to work - but I get logged out every few minutes! Nothing suggested in this forum resolves the situation. Extremely frustrated. This is happening no matter the device - iphone, Mac etc

Have you spoken with our Technical Support team? They'll be able to run through some troubleshooting steps with you, and check our systems to make sure everything is OK on our side too.

I'm having the same problem with my Android phone.

I connect to the WiFi. It works for a random time, and then it just drops the connection. I don't have that problem with any other WiFi network with that device, nor with any device.

Still, I stumbled on that problem once, years ago, with the setup of a home network. After much research, I found that the radio frequency I used (default) was the issue. There were just too many other signals in the area that used the same frequency, so eventually, my connection would lose sync.

Of course, that was an old problem with old WiFi tech, but it was precisely the same and could only be fixed by the provider. Maybe you guys at EE scale the service to the point that radio pollution is becoming an issue. Can you suggest it to your third-level support?
