I bought an EE 5G hub and took it home. it was supposed to work after charging upon starting up, but all I got was a solid red light on the network/bars light. I tried the SIM from my own phone (EE) and it worked instantly. I tried my wife's SIM (O2) and it worked instantly.
I spoke to technical support and they sent out a new router, which I tried with the existing SIM. Still just a red light. I went to an EE store and got a new SIM. I tried it with the new router and new SIM. Still just a red light.
How can it be that it works with our mobile SIMs, which have good signal in the house, but not with the SIMs provided by EE.
I am baffled and so frustrated. Has anyone else had this problem, or managed to solve it?

I'd recommend getting back in touch with our technical care team and advising them the problem has not been resolved.
The team can complete further diagnostics to find a fix for you.
