I am in a rural area with 11 Mb/s broadband (FTTC).
I think I could do better with mobile broadband. Does EE allow the use of my own mobile broadband router (Archer MR2000 or something a bit better) with its data SIM or do they only allow use of their SIMs with one of their own services?

No, you may use any SIM in any device of your choosing.

Can I buy a Monthly data SIM direct from EE or do I need to go to a retailer?
If EE sells them a link would be useful as I'm going round in circles at the moment 🙂
