Cannot link Mobile Broadband to my online account

I have recently taken out EE 4G broadband for business, but I cannot get the account to link to my EE online account.  If I follow instructions for "Link EE Broadband" it asks for billing account number of landline - netiher of which I have.  If I follow instructions for "Link EE mobile or SIM" it then wants to send a passcode to the mobile number - but because the SIM is in the 4G router I can't get the passcode!

Can somebody please advise?

You don't need an EE a/c no. Mobile BB isn't fixed Home BB. Link it as a mobile. Mobile routers contain a SIM. All SIMs have a mobile no. Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status as well as its mobile no. at the top.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

But how can I link it as a mobile, as it wants to send a verification code to the mobile number?  The SIM is on the mobile router, so how am I supposed to get the verification code?

Most mobile routers can receive texts. Login to it & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.
