I have been a mobile customer with EE for a number of years, when moving into a shared flat i had to get 4G broadband with EE, now I will be moving the new tenant wants to take over the remaining 6months on the contract.
I currently can see both my mobile bill & broadband bill when I log into my account, if I change the name for the broadband to the new tenant will this affect
my phone account.
I was told they were completely separate as I stressed this was important when taking out the broadband contract as I’m only in the property for 12months & the contract is 18, does anyone know if it can be changed to the new tenant and they have their own log in details for the broadband separate from my mobile account?

@JayDavina It doesn’t work like that as you are the contract customer and you can not change ownership of a contract yourself. You’ll need to call customer services to request a change of ownership and the new tenant will have to pass a credit check and agree to take ownership of the contract. If that tenant is not with you when you call customer services you’ll be given a code you need to give this code to the new tenant so when they call EE customer services they can give this code so customer services.

Hi @JayDavina,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Don't worry, an account transfer can be completed for just the mobile broadband, leaving your mobile phone on your account.

Your 4GEE BB a/c is not a Home BB a/c. That's only for fixed BB over a landline or FTTP. The 4GEE router is on a mobile a/c.
