5g router

I’m trying to use a 5G SIM card as the internet source for my 5G router to provide WiFi.

Initially, the internet connection works fine, but after a few minutes, it stops.

Does anyone know if there might be limitations on using a SIM card for internet sharing through a router, such as restrictions on hotspot functionality?

No such restrictions. Net Neutrality dictates you may use any SIM in any device.

What APN/Profile is the router using?
