Hi,
i have recently (January 23) upgraded from the 4g mobile broadband to 5g mobile broadband.
this new device seems to be a sealed unit so the battery is not accessible unlike the 4g model.
over the past week, the device has begun turning off unexpectedly - even when its connected to it charger.
i can probably get 1 hours use before it turns off.
the small reset button doesn't seem to do anything either.
i have contacted EE tech support via live chat with no success. Not sure how to fix this !

Hi there @RyKirwan
Thanks for coming here.
Do you loose connection when the device powers off, or are the lights going off and you stay connected?
Did live chat ask you to try any steps?
Leanne.

Hi,
I lose connection and the device is no longer available as a wifi connection.
The battery light flashes orange when plugged into its charger. I have tried a different USB-C charger with no luck.
I have been recommended to take it to an EE store.

Sounds like this could be a Battery or Battery Charging Issue, if you login to Routers Admin Page (192.168.1.1) it should show you the Battery Charge State, what is its Charge Level before it decides to Turn Off.
You could also do a Full Reset of the Router by pressing the Reset Button (press and hold in for around 10 seconds) or by doing a Factory Reset within the Settings (again within the Admin Page).
Also worth checking that your Routers Firmware is up to date within Admin Settings.
