Hi all,

moving to a farm, need mobile broadband, EE have a cap of 1000gb on both personal and business accounts. Do gaming at night…. I can see people spoke nearly a year ago about it, wondered if anyone out there does online gaming a lot and has had a problem of their router slowing down after the 1000gb or having trouble? Any advise is appreciated.

kind regards

If its an Old 5G UL Data Plan then your probably get away with using more than the 600 or 1000gb FUP, if its a relatively newer or a recent UL Plan then it will probably start to Speed Cap you the moment you hit the FUP.

On 5G UL Data Plans, the 5G Signal Layer connection will be disconnected when you hit the FUP (the Device may still show you are connected to 5G but you wont be) after which you will only be able to use your UL Data over 4G until your next monthly refresh Data.

Remember, depending on your Location, Device Type and Set Up, Signal Quality and Time of Day, you can still achieve some really good DL and UL Speeds on 4G.

Im not a Gamer, so I cant help or comment on that particular topic over Mobile Data.

Thank you for your reply.

Just a quick question, if I do hit the limit, do I then just have 4G until
the month renewal?

Kind regards

Matthew

Correct, you then start a fresh with the full Fat 5G again for the New Month.
