5G Mobile Hub - Sim only?

Hi! With the price increases coming in, I am paying a lot more than when the contract started and simply it isn’t worth it, however EE is the only company that actually gives me signal in my area.

My contract is due to end August this year and unfortunately it isn’t financially viable anymore being over £60. I am curious as to whether I could continue using the hub afterwards but switch to a sim only plan and if so what ones would work or is similar to the ones that come with the hubs?

I would consider moving company entirely but at the moment EE is my only option.

You could cancel your contract for the mobile router but keep it & order a SIM-Only to put into it. Which SIM will depend on how much data you need. Generally phone SIMs, which will work in it, are cheaper per data than data SIMs curiously.

You may even be able to upgrade your mobile router directly to SIM-Only (thus keeping the mobile no.). You can with phones but I'm not sure about mobile routers.
