Good afternoon,

Many moons ago, i purchased a ee mobile wifi device as i had no provider at that time who could give me a solid signal, when i moved I cancelled contract, i still have the device and would like to put a pay as you go sim into it to use on the go, is this possible. Also i have tried to order a data only sim on ee site, but keep getting taken to a 404 page?

Good afternoon,

Thank you to everybody who took time to reply and guide me with issues. I was keen to buy a 4gee payg mobile broadband device, however when I log on to EE site, it takes me to mobile devices for internet, but, no payg option, only pay monthly. Since this is only for use now and again to access medical notes, I do not require a contract. Yet, I can go online and buy payg ee devices from eBay, and Argos, I want to keep my custom with EE but, it seems I can't buy from them direct. Please tell me what I am doing wrong,

At the mo' EE aren't selling any PAYG mobile routers. But I thought you already had an EE mobile router & only wanted a SIM for it, for which I recommended PAYG Mobile Phone SIM as being compatible & of better value. That page doesn't error.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Bought a sim card  pre -topped up, put it in device, will not recognise it, even though it is EE device, and EE sim card.

Hi @denton2021

Does the WiFi device work with any other EE SIM card?

Leanne.

Hi @denton2021

The EE shop page has been sent to the relevant team to be looked into.

If the SIM card works in a phone, this should work in the WiFi device for you. How long have you had the WiFi device?

Thanks @denton2021

Could you try another SIM card to see if this works in the device?

This will let us know if the device is faulty.

Leanne.
