My Hitachi smart TV won't connect to my 4gee WiFi mini, it's finds it but won't connect when I put the password in, the TV does connect to a WiFi hot spot on my phone, I've try'd changing to 5gz from 2.4 that hasn't worked and I've also spoke to customer support who were unable to help... I am at this point tearing my hair out...please can anyone help..Tia..

Hi @TT52
Welcome to the community.
Have you tried forgetting the WiFi, restarting both devices and starting again?

Thank you Chris
I've done both. It's driving me round the bend.

Did you press the reset button/pinhole on the 4GEE router, @TT52?
Does your router work OK with other devices?

Yes I've done that twice, everything else works perfectly even the bedroom TV, the TV in question connects to my WiFi hotspot on my phone, it's just this dongle it won't connect to, it finds it but just doesn't connect... I'm baffled!

Have you tried speaking to Hitachi to see if they're aware of any compatibility issues, @TT52?

Hi James.
Yes but only when you are adding a network manually.

Have you tried switching to a different security type, to see if that resolves the issue @TT52?
