Maybe somebody might know the answer, i have the 4GEE Router.
I am not too far away from the mast but my BB goes up & down never that good.
When i unplug it for say 5 mins then restart it it usually improves it a bit,so just wondering if these routers are rubbish.
I bought this one from EE a few years ago,i am wondering if i bought a decent make would it make a difference.

@jockwav1 You do know that there is more than one 4gee router than your explanation of few years ago?

@jockwav1 looking back through your post, have you reported as a fault? As not sure which router you have this is a link to review of one, speeds do vary, is your mobile also on EE? Link below.

What can i tell you about a white square router that this company sell to people.
My mobile has nothing to do with this as i am with O2 for my mobile.

My SPEED THIS MORNING BEFORE 7AM WAS 6.93MBPS SHOCKING I AM PAYING FOR THIS.

@jockwav1 4G mobile is a shared signal so speed from mast depends on how many user's are pulling data at that time, reason for asking if your mobile was on EE, you could have done speed test with that. You can run a speed test on your mobile data connected it will show you what you can get using O2, and probably connecting to it's equipment on the same mast...

My O2 that i use my phone with is for calls on a PAYG i don`t use it for the internet,so nothing to do with this.
The internet speeds i am getting varying from 100MBPS down to 6MBPS early morning or at night.
I just do not find this acceptable,i am paying good money for a service which is just not doing great at all.

@jockwav1 You are just not getting it, are you? The more people who are on the mast pulling data, then your speed will go down, it is called contention.... As you can sometimes get 100mb/s then there sounds like your router is working as should be. We are only here to help and DID you follow the CS instruction to report it as a fault?

Yes i am getting it,i have done everything i have been asked to do,so will leave it to CS to sort this.
