Can EE please provide a definitive explanation to what "If you intend to use your 4G WiFi whilst connected to your charger for more than 7 days, then, it is advisable that you remove the battery to avoid any potential damage'.

This reads to me that i can remove the battery and as long as the device is still plugged-in to the charger then it will still work - am I correct in my assumption please?

thanks

@Phil22222  Try it.

  Keeping it on charge will ruin the battery.  Ie you’ll over charge it.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks Chris but can you use it without a battery connected? I.e. use off the mains supply only?

@Phil22222 Yes that assumption would be correct, some batteries do not like to be on a continuous charge and can have memory effect so when called upon to be used they do not last, not saying that this model suffers but i can be good general advice that EE are giving. Down side when power goes out, unit stops, More of a portable device so best used that way. If not cycle unit so battery gets chance to go down/up every so often.
