Signed-up for an 18 month contract for 4G to allow me to work from home 2 years ago. Speeds were pretty good. 40-50+
At the beginning of this year, multiple occasions where the network wasn't available for which I received a listening ear and eventually compensation.
Speeds now consistently between 8-20 - Sky Streaming doesn't work properly because of this (£££ service). EE aren't interested because this is "acceptable". I'm out of contract but still waiting for fibre connection so stuck with a very expensive solution that is apparently deteriorating, and in the main providing a poor service.
Anyone else having similar issues? I live in the middle of Leek which is awash with indoor and outdoor coverage apparently.

Had the exact same thing happen to me. I have a lodge in a rural area and had setup an Archer MR600 router with the EE sim and a directional antenna. Was getting speeds of 40-60mbps, ideal for working from home (Teams etc) plus social streaming. I even extended my EE contract given how good the speeds were.
And then it dropped to 2-4mbps. Endless 'chats' with EE and the usual 'well the service is fine' response. And that despite weekly service alerts being received. Useless for Teams and streaming. Occasionally (for a few hours) I get the speeds of old.
Interestingly despite this being a rural area I did notice a 5G signal appearing, coincidently at the same time as the degredation in the 4G signal. I have 'invested' in a 5G capable router and thought all my problems were over. Quick setup and speeds arounf 120mbps. Sorted. Unfortunatley not. the signal is prone to dropping even when weather conditions are fine.
Good luck with getting this resolved.

Thanks - I definitely think the party line at EE HQ has been changed - I'm sure when I've complained about poor speeds in the past they took an interest.
I think there is zero interest in getting it resolved. We all know what it is capable of doing - 60+Mb - just want something consistent in the 30-40+ area please.
When they finally connect the fibre in our street (it's been installed) I'm gone. I would have been interested in retaining a contract of sorts (but not at the £60+/mth with F&F). However my customer loyalty has been tested during this last 24 months

No such thing as loyalty anymore from these companies be it broadband, mobile phone, utilities, insurance etc.
