4 Gee wifi mini red wifi

I have a 4 gee wifi mini that was working wonderfully on trips away.  It has not been used for a while but is set up with a 12 month bundle and credit till March 2023.  On a trip last week I got the red wifi indicator with internet connected without wifi message.   I checked coverage in the area and reset the box but still no wifi.   I checked it at home too but just the same.

Someone suggested you need to reactivate it if not been used for a while but I am not sure what to do.  No way to email or message the company and every time I phone I get the it will be over 10 minute wait message.

Was thinking of topping up again but thinking twice now.

Sounds like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation.

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
