Retail Advisor Job for Under 18

Hi, I've seen a job for an EE retail advisor and I am very interested. However, I am 17 and have seen mixed opinion on the minimum age for working as a retail advisor. What is the official minimum age? Do I need to be 18?Thanks,Mark
