The confusing bit here, is your comment that "the voicemail has been converted to text" - do you mean it's been transcribed?
That's not something that EE voicemail does. And therefore the obvious question is, what was the exact wording on the notification?
It would seem bizarre to receive both a transcribed voicemail & a voicemail notification - it should be one or the other.
