Xbox Games pass(not EE customer)

So I bought a 1 month xbox game pass ultimate from someone off ebay only to see that the subcription was through BT/EE which I am not a customer for. I am unable to manage the subscription and on my xbox account it says that it's a recurring subscription. How do I go about making this a non recurring subscription or cancelling it when it runs out? I went on ebay to find the person i bought it from but their account no longer exists

@WittyCheetah927  you can’t as it’s EE account linked.   Did you check sellers seller rating before you purchased this.

yes and i bought it from the because they had a good rating. But i talked to xbox support and they told me i wont be getting charged since it's through their account, so im all good

If someone has sold you either a one off or recurring subscription for Xbox game pass you may have access to there subscription only. They could cancel this at any point as you do not control the payment to Microsoft. 
I advise you in the future to purchase any subscription direct from the seller to avoid any fraudulent activity. Doing this will ensure you have full control of the account including it's payments,  terms and conditions will only apply to you if purchased direct from seller.

in short, only buy subscriptions direct from seller to avoid disappointment.

Hi WittyCheetah, hope you read this. This has just happened to me unfortunately

can you advised what happened next. What happened when they code ran out, was you able to buy another genuine subscription etc though the Microsoft website
