Sent a Zero Balance Gift Card for Meta 3S promo

This card is supposed to be £50

I typed in the card number and the pin and it shows as a zero balance.

what do i do now? I don’t have an EE phone to text or call from.

I've had a check here @TheFishKnows and they're definitely working through their log of queries, so I'm confident you should hear something soon. 

You can certainly send over another email just in case this wasn't received somehow, but I'm confident you should hear something soon.

Still heard nothing. Sent two further emails. Got a standard cookie cutter email from resolutions saying they will contact when they have information. 

this could drag on for months no one wants to resolve this so I have initiated a chargeback for the amount of the game card.

hopefully this solves it once and for all.

Just to update this thread.

now another ten days on. And not a single reply from either resolutions or this alledged third party dealing with it.

the single  worst customer service experience I’ve ever had from any company ever.

Hi @TheFishKnows i also received at £150 card which has a zero balance on it I went to redeem it tonight for my kids, who now wake up Xmas day without them. It’s ridiculous.

It’s a disgrace.

i hope you have better luck getting a resolution then I have. Even the token “have you checked your spam emails” community support posts have dried up. 

literally on day 37 of trying to get this resolved. I have been ghosted by every department.

make a new thread if you havn’t already they just ignore this one now.

@TheFishKnows  i am on day 30 of trying to contact the same people. EE hide behind the fact they are a third party and don't want to help just keep advising me that they will contact them and they will come back to me in 72 hours - Maybe they mean 72 days!!!

65 days now.

No resolution, no acknowledgment. No reply to three complaints. 

I emailed the CEO on LinkedIn. Nothing

disgusting dumpster fire of a company.
