PlayStation portal

Hi, just bought a PS Portal, our PS5 works on wireless not Ethernet as the router is downstairs and the PS upstairs

We have the smart hub 6 and speed wise we get good speeds l, download speeds of 932mbs and 109 upload.

When playing on the portal we noticed considerable lagging, blurriness on the screen. Is that expected, what happens when we are away from home ? 
Any tips ?

Do any devices buffer or drop connection at the same time? 

Is this happening every time you use the PlayStation?
