Hi, we have a PS portal, can connect to our home EE broadband and then connect to our pS5.
when away from the home WiFi I can connect to my personal hotspot (EE) on the portal, I get a tick on the internet connection page, but the portal does not connect to the PS5, it just continually says connecting and then times out to a something went wrong message.
Hotspot works fine with other devices.
i read things about ipv6 ipv4 etc but tried everything

Hi @Mitch1875
If the steps don't help to get you connected, PlayStation Support are best placed to help and go through what is needed.
There is a link to contact them directly at the bottom of the page.

Hi @Mitch1875
Thanks for coming back to the community.
Can you try and hotspot the PS Portal to a different device to see if this works?
The How to troubleshoot issues on your PS Portal (UK) support page has some steps to try.

Thanks Leanne, will try that later; from further reading it appears that my EE mobile hotspot is NAT type 3, and the portal needs NAT type 2 .
Not sure if there is a workaround for this ?
