Pay off Add On tech

Hi all, been tempted by the Meta Quest 3, if I add that to my contract it’s like £20’today, and £22 for 24 months, am I correct that I couldn’t just pay a bit extra (say £50) one month and choose to have it come off the meta quest bill so I could pay it off well before the 24 months. I’m assuming my phone bill and meta quest get merged into one bill and anything additionally paid would simply just get taken as usual, so the £50 would go as credit then my phone bill would take 30 for the usual bill and the meta would take 20 and charge my card the outstanding balance ? Any help would be great.

Welcome to the community.

If you take out the Meta Quest 3 on add to plan, it would be added to the same bill as your phone. If you were to make an overpayment, it would likely just sit on your account as a credit, or just reduce a future bill payment. 

I'm not aware of a way to make an early payment for an add to plan product, apart from paying the balance off in full.

If you were to take the Meta Quest 3 out on a finance agreement, if available (see image example below), you'd be billed separately for it, and can make early payments through our customer support team.
