I've pre-ordered the Switch 2 and have an order number, but never received a confirmation email. Is this normal?

If you managed to get the full order number, you'll be able to track the order online.
If you only caught the EE part of it, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Electronics team, who handle these orders, and they can check it out for you. They are available on 0800 0790 062 until 6pm today and 9am to 6pm tomorrow.

Please don't post this in full, but when you placed your order did you get a reference number starting with XK, EE, or SO0?
Also have you had a chance to check your spam / junk folder to see if it's ended up in there?

Hi Peter,
I do have an order number starting with EE. I managed to write this down at the time of purchase.
I've checked my spam / junk inbox and don't have an email I'm afraid.
I placed the order on 08/04/25.

If you had the order number, that would usually mean the order has been received but I'm not sure why you didn't get the email.
We don't have access to the orders to check it has been successful here, so it would be best to get it checked.
Did you purchase it outright or was it to be paid monthly on Add to Plan on a mobile contract?

I bought it outright. I'm not an EE customer in any other sense than this purchase. Though I did make an account to make the purchase
