Hi there, I’m currently running a Huawei cpe pro router modded with external antennas and I have the 5g unlimited max plan, it’s been all good for a while now and I reset my router recently because I couldn’t connect to my PlayStation for some reason, ever since I’ve reset my nat type has gone from moderate to strict, I remember I had this issue before but I can’t remember how I fixed it lol anyone who could help would greatly appreciate it thank you

Hi @ZerkerTheGreek

Welcome to the community.

I'm not aware of any way to change the NAT type. Have you tried re-setting up the connection on the Playstation?

Chris

Hi thank you 🤝

yeah I’ve tried that with no success it’s just annoying because I had moderate nat type before and now it’s gone 😅

there was a way to change nat type in the apn list using chrome and developer tools but it seems like it doesnt work anymore well not for me atleast which sucks because now i cant play with my friends

Yeah I’m pretty sure it was my APN settings I done on the router which fixed it before, but now I really can’t find a solution I’ve spoken to EE on the phone and they said there is a solution but they can’t give it to me because it opens me up to security threats, I just wish I knew how it’s so frustrating not being able to play online games

I’ve spoken to ee over the phone and they told me there is a solution but they can’t give it to me because it opens me up to security threats, and suggested I Google it which I have with no luck, is there anything else I can do l? There must be a way to fix this that someone can share surely?

I have spent most of this evening trying to remote play my Xbox on my laptop via my new EE SIM and despite me being able to play on my old BT SIM, it appears that EE isn't as accommodating as my old network provider was!

In the end I had to go into my router settings and move the Xbox into my DMZ. I rebooted both and only now can I access my Xbox and remote play - which was worrying perfectly well until I used my new SIM.

Might be worth a try for you?

Thanks for your reply I’m gonna give this a try tomorrow and let you know how I get on, thanks
