I recently upgraded my phone contract, which after speaking to a sales advisor included a tablet alongside the new phone for a discounted price, which I agreed to. After confirming the contract with the advisor, they had then told me the price for the included tablet had "increased just today". I then said that I didnt want to pay any more than currently agreed.
After which they told me that the Honor Pad X8a 4G tablet was available for the price previously agreed on for a Lenovo tablet.
The sales advisor informed me that the Honor tablet was "Just as good, if not better" than the Lenovo tablet. Upon receiving the Honor tablet, I am not at all satisfied with its performance and would like to return it and cancel the contract for the tablet. Is this possible or am I locked in for 24 months, paying for something that I won't use?

Hi @TNels2025
Welcome to the community.
If the contract was taken out over the phone or online, you do have the option to return it within 14 days, which would cancel the tablet contract and keep the phone contract going.
You can see how to request this on our Return a device or SIM bought within the last 14 days page.
If it was taken in an EE store, there isn't a 14 day return option.
